SUMMIT BRING BACK EUROPEAN BRONZE

Summit Grappling Academy’s Sarah Redmond has brought back bronze from the BJJF European Championships.

Held Lisbon, Portugal, the championship is the largest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament in Europe.

Liam Blakemore, Bryan Nguyen and Sarah Redmond all represented the island at the European Championships. Bryan's grit and tenacity earned him a first round win by referee's decision, whilst Liam showed his range of skills to give his opponent a challenging match.

Coach Sarah secured a dominant win in the quarterfinals to advance to the semis and bringing home a bronze medal, the only earned for the Island.
